given zs... really chat?
- check out the chart "PANW/ZS"
- these two were basically oscillators at best (since the NASDAQ:ZS IPO) until literally dec 2026
- first the facts... NASDAQ:PANW is also well run
- panw has reached scale velocity way behond it's SBC... but even backing it out, we're still in the 1.5-2.5% range (not great!)
- growth is roughly similar to ZS
- margin profile... marginally favors panw
- but you're willing to pay a 3x multiplier on revenue, gp, ebitda... pick your KPI... for something that's just a larger factor ($200B cap vs. $20B cap?)
- this just doesn't square
- i have literally no read on panw except to say that "usage based AI winner" doesn't justify a 2-3x outperformance to NASDAQ:ZS on a YTD basis.
- so either ZS is dramatically undervalued (i'd argue it's more obvious than PANW is overvalued)... or PANW is net too expensive vs. ZS to such a degree that it makes for an interesting short setup into the print later this week (hard to pla

We initiated a buy signal on Palo Alto Networks NASDAQ:PANW when the stock bounced decisively from its 200-day EMA and long-term channel support. The stock has since rallied more than 60% from that level.

Palo Alto Networks ( NASDAQ:PANW ) is showing signs of a potential trend shift after a period of intense volatility in the cybersecurity sector. Following the recent sector wide sell off, the price action is beginning to print a more constructive pattern.
