Die Aktien von Rackspace Technology brachen im Vormittagshandel um 23,6 % auf 5,03 US-Dollar ein, nachdem das Unternehmen eine drastische Abwärtskorrektur seiner Finanzprognose für das Gesamtjahr bekannt gegeben hatte. Damit wurde eine anfängliche vorbörsliche Rally zunichtegemacht, die durch die Ankündigung einer strategischen KI-Partnerschaft ausgelöst worden war. Das Management reduzierte die Umsatzprognose für das Gesamtjahr auf eine Spanne von 2,45 bis 2,55 Milliarden US-Dollar – eine Kürzung um 150 Millionen US-Dollar gegenüber der vorherigen Prognose von 2,6 bis 2,7 Milliarden US-Dollar. Gleichzeitig wurden die Erwartungen für das bereinigte EBITDA von zuvor 305 bis 315 Millionen US-Dollar auf nun 285 bis 295 Millionen US-Dollar gesenkt.
